Monumental 20” Chinese Famille Rose Vase- Quilling Mark And Imperial Style-Birds

A striking and richly enameled 20-inch tall Chinese famille rose porcelain vase, decorated in the imperial Qianlong court style with vibrant enamels and auspicious symbolism.

The main panels feature finely painted birds among blossoming peonies and flowering branches, rendered in delicate famille rose tones with excellent line control and shading. Surrounding the cartouches is a deep cobalt blue ground, intricately filled with scrolling lotus, ruyi-head cloud forms, and bats (fu symbol) — representing prosperity, longevity, and imperial blessing.

The lower border is decorated with stylized lappets in turquoise, lemon yellow, and emerald green, echoing designs used on 18th-century palace porcelains from the Jingdezhen kilns. The vase carries a six-character Qianlong seal mark in underglaze blue to the base, in accordance with traditional imperial presentation.

The piece displays strong vertical balance, even glaze application, and a palette that closely follows mid-Qing dynasty decorative standards, making it an exceptional display or collector's example.
