12” Chinese Oxblood Flambé Moon Flask Vase Langyao Hong Qing Style Marked
An impressive 14-inch Chinese oxblood red moon flask vase (Bianhu form), featuring a deep Langyao Hong (flambé) glaze that transitions from crimson to plum and pale lavender near the rim. The rich, glassy surface creates luminous depth, displaying subtle vertical streaks characteristic of the flambé firing process.
The flattened round body, narrow neck, and coiled side handles reflect classical Qing dynasty design, while the underside bears an impressed apocryphal seal mark within a recessed oval foot — a hallmark of pieces produced in homage to imperial kiln masterpieces.
