Antique Chinese Doucai Longevity Vase w/ Peaches & Qianlong Mark
Elegant Chinese porcelain vase hand-painted in the refined Doucai (contrasting color) style, featuring a baluster form with a narrow neck and spreading foot. The vase is decorated with ripe peaches, pomegranates, and lotus flowers, each carrying profound symbolic meaning in Chinese art — together they represent "Three Abundances": long life (peach), fertility (pomegranate), and purity (lotus).
The restrained palette of iron red, cobalt blue, green, and yellow enamels sits gracefully on a soft white glaze. The combination of bright enamels outlined in blue is characteristic of early 20th-century Republic-era revival of Ming and Qing court designs, honoring imperial porcelain from the Qianlong reign (1736-1795).
The underside bears a six-character Qianlong mark in underglaze blue, indicating reverence to that period rather than a direct imperial piece.
