RARE! Fabulous antique Large Bronze 3 Headed Tri Muhkthi Ganapathi 3 Headed Ganesha "Remover of Obstacles" 22".

Magnificent antique bronze-finish statue of Lord Ganesha, intricately cast in the rare Trimukha (three-headed) form, representing divine wisdom, prosperity, and universal consciousness. This 22-inch tall sculpture depicts Ganesha seated upon his vahana (mount), the mouse Mooshika, symbolizing humility and the conquest of desire.

Rendered with extraordinary detail, each of the three elephant heads faces a different direction — symbolizing the past, present, and future — while his multiple arms hold various sacred emblems including the axe, lotus, and sweets, representing removal of obstacles and the granting of blessings.

The piece exhibits a rich antique bronze patina with subtle highlights that accentuate the intricate jewelry, crown, and drapery. The craftsmanship suggests origin from India, mid-20th century or earlier, possibly from a South Indian workshop specializing in lost-wax brass casting.

This is a commanding altar or gallery piece, radiating presence and spiritual symbolism — ideal for collectors of Hindu art, South Asian bronzes, or sacred décor.

💎 Collector Notes

Three-headed forms of Ganesha are among the most esoteric tantric depictions, representing the three gunas (sattva, rajas, tamas) and mastery over the temporal world. This statue embodies the number 5 through its combination of five symbolic gestures — protection, blessing, offering, intellect, and strength — aligning with the cosmic balance revered in Hindu philosophy.
