Pair of two Chinese gourd-shaped vases, adorned with plum blossom designs and Chinese characters. These vases are made of porcelain. They are sisters, not twins. One with a dark, possibly lacquered, finish. The other more of a flat finish. Such a unique pair. The Chinese characters, "梅" (méi), translate to "plum blossom" in English, which is a recurring motif on the vases. They are signed on the bottom. Absolutely stunning and definitely a conversation starter. They are 20" tall
